The War Room Podcast has been one of the most popular pro-Trump streaming shows on the internet for the past few years. Unfortunately, host Steve Bannon has been unjustly locked in federal prison for the past few months to silence him in the run-up to the 2020 election. He was eligible for release in early September, but Bannon now says that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are keeping him imprisoned to keep him quiet.

Bannon was sentenced to four months in federal prison for ignoring a subpoena from the illegally formed Liz Cheney January 6 Committee. His prosecution and imprisonment for ignoring an illegitimate subpoena from an illegal committee was entirely partisan.

Guys like Attorney General Merrick Garland and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas have been ignoring congressional subpoenas for almost four years straight. No one’s trying to throw them in jail.

Steve Bannon was eligible for early release from prison weeks ago, under the First Step Act passed into law by the Trump administration. The law allows early release for certain non-violent offenders, which Bannon clearly qualifies for.

Bannon petitioned a court more than 75 days ago for early release, but the federal prosecutors who handled his case have refused to respond to it. He is simply being held in prison past his release date because he is one of the most popular pro-Trump and anti-Kamala Harris voices in the world.

This further solidifies America’s banana republic status in the world. Bannon met the requirements of the First Step Act by taking educational and vocational programs while incarcerated. He’s also decidedly non-violent. He’s expected to be released finally on October 29th, but at this point, would it surprise anyone if Kamala Harris kept him behind bars longer than that to keep him quiet until after the election?
